Š¢ourism promotion of traditional crafts The Director of the Agency for Promotion and Support of Tourism, Dr. Ljupco Janevski and the President of the Chamber of Crafts of the Republic of North Macedonia, Agron Fazliji today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. Through the maintenance of traditional crafts, artisans contribute to the celebration of tradition and preservation of cultural heritage, but an important segment is also encouraging the economic development of the country – pointed out Janevski.

Without exception, traditional crafts should be part of tourist visits, where tourists will have the opportunity to see how certain handicrafts are made, share experiences and buy handmade items. By signing this Memorandum, we will work on strengthening cooperation through joint action, improving the quality of products and services of craftsmen, presentation and promotion of craft products and services in the country and abroad by organizing joint presentations with joint participation in fair events.
