It is with great honor and pleasure that we inform the public that the Chamber of Crafts of the Republic of North Macedonia has signed an agreement for the implementation of a new project with financial support from the Slovenian Embassy Skopje/Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia. The agreement was signed by the Ambassador H.E. Mr. Gregor Presker and the President of the Chamber of Crafts of the Republic of North Macedonia Mr. Agron Fazliji. The project “Education and Economic Empowerment of Vulnerable Groups of Women in North Macedonia” represents a significant step towards strengthening social cohesion, economic independence and gender equality. The activities will be implemented in Skopje, Ohrid, Gostivar, Prilep, Kumanovo and Sv.Nikole, where through practical and theoretical trainings as beauticians, around 100 candidates will have the opportunity to acquire certificates, knowledge and tools for employment or opening their own business. Additionally, the project provides training for the production of natural cosmetics with an ecological approach, in cooperation with local beekeepers and pharmaceutical companies, as well as the development of entrepreneurial skills for the economic empowerment of the participants. This initiative aims to support women from different communities who have long been marginalized and excluded from the formal labor market. With this project, we open the door to decent work, financial stability and active participation in the country’s economy. Sincere gratitude to the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia for the partnership, to Ms. Gjyle Vishaj for the trust and commitment to building a more inclusive and sustainable
